From the Wyo Stays team. Copy, personalize the [brackets], and respond to every review — the good and the bad. The gated version is the full editable pack.
Responding to reviews isn't just courtesy — future guests read your responses, and a graceful reply to a bad review can win more bookings than the review itself lost.
To a glowing 5-star review
Thank you so much, [Guest]! It was a joy hosting you at [Property]. [Reference something specific they mentioned.] You're welcome back anytime — and next visit, book direct at wyostays.com to save. Come see us again! — [Host]
To a positive-but-mixed review
Thank you for the kind words, [Guest], and for the honest feedback on [issue]. You're right, and we've already [action taken]. We'd love to host you again and show you the improvement. — [Host]
To a negative review (the important one)
Thank you for taking the time to share this, [Guest]. I'm genuinely sorry [specific issue] fell short — that's not our standard. [What you did/are doing to fix it.] I appreciate you helping us get better, and I'd welcome the chance to host you again. — [Host]
Rules for the tough ones: stay calm and professional (never defensive), acknowledge the specific issue, state the fix, and keep it short. You're writing for the next reader, not to win an argument.
To an unfair or false review
Thank you for your feedback. We take all reviews seriously. For the record, [calm, factual clarification]. We hold ourselves to a high standard and are always working to improve. — [Host]
Never argue, never get personal, never overshare. Calm and factual always wins the audience.
