Plain-English notes on what we collect, why, and how to reach us.
Effective July 3, 2026
Who we are
This site is operated by Wyo Stays LLC, a licensed Wyoming real estate brokerage based at 151 W Brundage St, Sheridan, WY 82801. You can reach us at (307) 312-9656 or daltongoodyear@wyostays.com. In this policy, "we," "our," and "us" refer to Wyo Stays LLC.
What information we collect
We collect the information you give us directly when you fill out a form on our website — for example a guest contact form, booking inquiry, property owner inquiry, careers application, or newsletter sign-up. That typically includes:
- Your name and email address.
- Your phone number, when you choose to share it.
- Property, travel, or booking details you provide (dates, party size, property address, preferences).
- Any message or notes you write into a form field.
We also collect basic technical information your browser sends automatically (IP address, general location, device/browser type, pages viewed) to keep the site secure, measure performance, and fight spam. Bookings themselves are handled by our reservation platform, which collects payment details directly — we never see or store your full card number.
How we use your information
We use what you share with us to:
- Respond to your inquiry or request.
- Confirm and service your booking (confirmations, check-in details, arrival instructions, follow-up).
- Manage owner relationships under signed property management agreements, including monthly statements, maintenance updates, and market reporting.
- Send occasional service or market updates related to your stay, your property, or resources you asked for. You can opt out of marketing emails any time using the unsubscribe link in the footer of those messages.
- Keep the site secure, prevent fraud, and comply with our legal and brokerage obligations under Wyoming law.
SMS & text messaging
By providing your phone number through one of our website forms, signing a property management agreement, or otherwise requesting that we contact you, you consent to receive text messages from Wyo Stays related to bookings, customer support, and property updates.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of further texts, or reply HELP for help. You can also email us at daltongoodyear@wyostays.com to be removed.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of any service we provide.
We do not sell or share phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we never text purchased lists or cold-contact lists. We only text people who have knowingly given us their number for the reasons above.
How we share information
We share your information only with the service providers who help us operate — for example, our property management and reservations software, our email and SMS providers, payment processors, and analytics providers. These vendors are bound by contract to use your information only to provide services to us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of our guests, owners, and staff, or in connection with a business transfer.
How long we keep it
We keep booking, guest, and owner records for as long as needed to service your stay or agreement and to meet our legal, tax, and brokerage record-keeping obligations under Wyoming law. Inquiry records that don't turn into a booking are typically kept for up to 24 months and then archived or deleted.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing messages. Just email daltongoodyear@wyostays.com and we'll take care of it. We may need to keep some records for legal or accounting reasons even after a deletion request.
Children's privacy
Our site and services are intended for adults booking travel and managing property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Effective" date at the top of the page. If the change is material, we'll do our best to give you reasonable notice.
