Where to stay for a Sheridan Hawks game: the Hawks play at the Whitney Rink in the M&M's Center, 475 E Brundage St, Sheridan, Wyoming.1 Main Street is about a third of a mile away.8 Most puck drops are 7:30 PM Mountain, and 18 of the 22 home games fall on Friday–Saturday pairs, so two nights covers both games and a free Saturday open skate.2

A 7:30 puck drop, a wet gear bag and a hungry skater at 10 PM. A hotel room handles none of that well.

Several counters, a coffee shop and a bar share one room at 412 Whitney Lane. Open Tuesday–Sunday, 8 AM–9 PM. Closed Mondays. It's owned by Chris and Hannah Medved, and the Chamber welcomed it with a ribbon cutting in April 2024.6

The name on the rink
Edward A. Whitney
Whitney came to Sheridan in 1885 and ran a bank. He died in 1917 and left $852,000 to fund student loans, a community center and an agricultural college. Whitney Benefits grew from that will. It has lent more than $46 million interest-free to over 6,100 students and given more than $101 million to Sheridan College.14

Whitney Plaza and Whitney Commons
Whitney Plaza is the development across from the rink where Ice Haus stands.7 Whitney Commons is a park about half a mile away on W Alger St, with a splash pad, playground, amphitheater and paved paths.14

Where do the Sheridan Hawks play?
The Hawks play home games at the Whitney Rink in the M&M's Center, 475 E Brundage St, Sheridan, Wyoming. The building opened in December 2015 and was designed to seat about 420.
Who are the Sheridan Hawks?
The Sheridan Hawks are a junior hockey team in the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL), a USA Hockey Tier III league. The team moved to Sheridan in 2019 and plays in the Frontier Division.
How much are Sheridan Hawks tickets?
Single-game tickets for 2026–27 are $12 for adults, $10 for students, military and seniors 65+, $8 for ages 5–12, and free for 4 and under. The gate takes cash or card.
