The tiny house sits at the edge of the meadow, tucked into the foothills where Story meets the Bighorn National Forest. Deer cross the property at dawn. Hawks circle overhead in the afternoon. At night, the stars are absurd — the kind of sky that makes city visitors go quiet. This isn't glamping. It's a real structure with real walls and a real bed. But it's small by design, because the point is what's outside.
Two bedrooms — one on the main level, one in the loft — a compact but complete kitchen, and a bathroom that gets the job done. The loft is the kid magnet: ladder access, skylight, the feeling of sleeping in a treehouse. Downstairs, the queen bed faces the window so you wake up to the meadow. It's cozy without being cramped, efficient without feeling sparse.
Story is 15 minutes from Sheridan but exists in its own world. The Wagon Box historical site is up the road. The Bighorn trailheads are close enough for a morning hike before lunch. In winter, you're positioned for snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. In summer, fly fishing and mountain biking. The tiny house is your base camp for all of it.
