    Listing Optimization Guide

Photos, titles, amenities, SEO — get found and get booked.

    From the Wyo Stays team.

Your listing is your storefront. Small improvements to photos, title, and copy can lift your booking rate more than almost anything else you'll do. Here's the optimization checklist.

    Photos (the single biggest lever)

    • Hire a pro — it pays for itself fast. Bright, wide, well-composed shots.
    • Nail the first photo — it drives click-through more than any other factor. Lead with your best, most distinctive view.
    • Cover everything — every room, the outdoor space, the hot tub, the view, amenities, and lifestyle shots (the fire pit at sunset).
    • Caption each photo with a benefit.

    Title & headline

    • Lead with the differentiator + location: "Downtown Sheridan Cabin · Hot Tub · Walk to Main St."
    • Include what people search (hot tub, pet-friendly, mountain view).

    Description

    • First lines matter most — hook with the experience, then the specifics.
    • Be honest and complete — accurate expectations prevent bad reviews.
    • Scannable — short paragraphs, bullets for amenities.
    • Speak to your guest type (families, couples, hunters, remote workers).

    Amenities & details

    • Check every amenity box you truthfully offer — they're search filters.
    • Highlight the Wyoming-specific wins (gear storage, mudroom, fast wifi, fireplace).

    The ongoing work

    • Refresh photos seasonally, keep the calendar and pricing sharp, respond fast, and gather reviews. Optimization isn't one-and-done.
