In this manual, you will find detailed instructions on how to perform a successful Airbnb turnover and cleaning, including guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure the safety of our guests during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Before guests arrive:
1. Conduct a thorough cleaning of the entire rental, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping all surfaces. Pay special attention to high-touch areas such as doorknobs, light switches, and remote controls, ensuring that these are thoroughly disinfected.
2. Clean and disinfect all bathrooms, paying special attention to toilets, showers, and countertops. Use CDC-approved cleaning products for disinfecting and follow the manufacturer's guidelines for use.
3. Clean and disinfect all kitchen surfaces, including the stove, oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher.
4. Change all bed linens and make all beds. Use clean linens that have been washed with detergent at a high temperature.
5. Replace all towels and washcloths.
6. Check and refill all guest amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.
7. Check that all appliances and electronics are in working order and that all windows and doors are properly secured and locked.
