    A full bar that locks for the night and turns into yours.

    Most private event venues in town are a hotel ballroom with a folding table where the bar should be. Harbor Hideout starts the other way around: it's a real bar — properly built, properly stocked, properly lit — that we close to the public and hand over to your group for the night.

    That changes the math on what an event can feel like. A baby shower with bartenders making real cocktails. A college football watch party where the playlist comes off your phone and the dishes don't show up on Venmo at midnight. A small wedding welcome party that actually feels like a welcome party. The bar does what bars do best: gives the night somewhere to settle.

    Is the bar included or do we set up our own?
    The bar is fully built and operational. You bring a bartender (or use one of ours from the preferred list) and a beverage plan. We'll walk you through it.
    Can we run our own playlist over the sound system?
    Yes. Bring your Spotify or Apple Music account — the system is set up for guest pairing.
    Can we serve our own food, or do we need to use a caterer?
    Either works. Many groups bring in a caterer for full events; smaller gatherings often go with a food truck (Los Conejos and Hetty's Pizza are favorites) or simple grazing platters.
    Is there an age restriction?
    This is a private event venue, not a public bar — so your group sets the rules. Most events here are 21+, but family events with kids are workable on a case-by-case basis.
    What's the latest the event can run?
    Most events wrap by midnight. Later windows possible — ask on inquiry.
    Can we hold a wedding reception at Harbor Hideout?
    Smaller welcome receptions yes. Full wedding receptions are typically better at Gratitude or The Main Exchange — but a wedding after-party at Harbor Hideout is one of our favorite formats.
